The Forbidden Cave

Forbidden Cave initially started as a short comedic picture book for kids & teenagers to explain the benefits of upcycling & the consequences of our current ocean waste problem. The concept was to tell a story by having one of the main characters trespassing into a cave called "Forbidden Cave" and ends up getting into trouble.
I was required to do: a picture book (printed & softcopy), short animated teaser, social media posting (here & Behance) & an extra product (for my case it's public advertising).
The project took 3 months to complete. It was for my main illustration & animation module in NAFA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts). The journey to completion was rough because there were lots of doubts & disagreements such as experimenting with the textures for the illustration but in the end, the results paid off!
