Malaysia & buses? It's like peanut butter & jelly!! Oh wait lemme rephrase that... It's like sweet peanut sauce & savoury sambal~ Odd combinations to many but unique in taste & texture! Well that's what Malaysian made buses are all about~ They may be shaky in workmanship & loud in nature but a nostalgia & thrill to ride! Buses designed in Malaysia may feel over the top or underwhelming at times but who cares?? Malaysia isn't a perfect country to begin with but it's the melting pot of colours & culture in it's surroundings that makes it feel... COMPLETE. Well then... Does Malaysia have iconic vehicles? Proton Saga perhaps said almost anyone... Or the KTM ETS train helping anyone travel from KL to Thailand safely & seamlessly~ But let's not forget Malaysia's commitment in bus manufacturing which spans up to well almost a century?? Buses "Ekspres" (Express) to "Awam" (Public), you name it, Malaysia "Boleh" (can) create it! The Scania city bus bodied by Gemilang Coachworks of Malaysia has been proudly regarded as Malaysia's iconic bus & are commonly roaming around the metro areas of Lembah Klang, Penang, Kuantan, etc etc... It even made it to Singapore! Right now, Malaysia is moving to a greener economy & so does the world!
