MRT NEL (North East Line) 20th Anniversary

As tomorrow is 20th June 2023, this marks 20 years of operations on Singapore’s MRT North East Line!
Featuring the 1st generation Alstom Metropolis C751A that was made in France & still serving the network well for the last 2 decades!
It’s also my favourite MRT line in the country & the C751A is still my favourite train in Singapore due to the constant straight forward alignment allowing the train to cruise straight & quickly.
Also thanks to the overhead power supply, the one & only MRT line in Singapore for the moment to use it. This helps the train to gain electricity efficiently & perform quick runs!
I hope the NEL remains this standard & of course push for even better things in the long term!
