Tribute to Singapore's train of the Millennium, it's been more than 2 decades of service, but all good things must come to an end...
What better way to honour it with a cute Japanese mascot & the Synthwave vibes of the future?
The Kawasaki Nippon Sharyo C751B was nicknamed "the train of the future" especially it's conceptualisation as an airport train when Changi Airport station opens in 2001 with other tube stations like Dover & Expo around the beginning of the Millennium~
The C751B was set to improve & revolutionise the comfort of travel on Singapore's tube network promising better train services in the coming decades. (Until the government settled for China made Kawasaki's a decade later...)
As I'm writing this, roughly 3 units have retired, 2 went for scrap the other awaiting it's fate for the gallows...
Train conservation in Singapore is merely impossible but with the power of art, ANYTHING is possible!!!
