The current ITE College Central bus stop is pathetically small, old and design wise not related and functional to the huge modern campus behind it.
I studied in ITE for 2 years taking a NITEC Digital Animation course from 2016 to 2017. Based on my observation there are just literally hundreds of people waiting hanging around uncomfortably for a bus because the current shelter is small and low.
My design is a tall and big bus stop with a slope and overhead bridge from the second floor of the campus; currently anyone who wants to cross the other side of the road needs to go down to Ground Level and then climb up the Overhead bridge which is really a waste of time & energy...
I haven't submit this proposal to the Land Transport Authority but when I do, it's about time ITE gets such proper transport facilities to be on par with other Tertiary institutions.
