There's a very long gap between Yew Tee and Kranji stations on the North South Line and a proposed Sungei Kadut station was meant to become reality in the late 1990s until the Singapore government felt there's no demand for passengers in the area.
From the past until today it has been one of Singapore's oldest Industrial estates and there's barely any mode of transport except bus service 925.
Anyways there's talks of revitalising the station and it's made obvious when the Land Transport Authority (LTA) built a road parallel to the MRT viaduct highlighting a potential station coming up...
Only time will tell... (It has and by 2040 this station will be completed)
