Here's a Macanese-Portuguese Iberian Fox girl wearing a traditional Portuguese outfit and holding Mao's Little Red Book. So why did I illustrate this?
The 20th Anniversary of Macau's handover from Portugal to China is coming soon... Macau's handover to China happened in 1999 after Portugal's loss of overseas territories worldwide in 1974 which majority of Macanese Chinese are happy because of their sense of belonging to China. The Portuguese presence and influence in Macau has been dying until lately in late 2019 where China have plans to expand Macau and bringing in Portuguese speaking people to settle and businesses to set up jobs and operate in Macau. I want my audience to think about Macau 20 years on into being a SAR region before China's 100% control on the former Portuguese territory. Is it good or bad for Macau? Observe and study the details all over the Illustration... What you reckon?
