Devi Haru

She's a Japanese cosplayer who's studying & living in Singapore, I came to know her because of her iconic Donut float that she brought along as her cosplay prop at Conventions and also she's well liked by my friends and photographers.
In the Reference photo which I work based on she was cosplaying based on a Kobayashi Maid Dragon character: Kanna Kamui. To be clear with everyone, she cosplayed BASED on that character not TOTALLY.
Ok cut story short, I felt she had lots of potential and injecting fresh new wild ideas to this illustration was my Ultimate Aim.
I also did not want to go overboard with colours like my previous work which is an illustration of myself, however that said I want something that makes Devi Haru iconic. The colourful donuts, the paint splatters and the colours on the dress says it all about a cheerful happy Teenage girl~
